    It's always a delight to welcome RON DRAKE back to Bexley. He began his musical life in the 60s with the Alan Elsdon Band - in which Campbell Burnap also played and during which time the two formed a friendship which lasted until Campbell's death. Ron later worked with Rod Mason and the Alex Welsh Reunion Band. His jazz style is cultured and impeccable (rather like the man himself) and is a joy to hear. Ron is widely respected
    in the jazz world as one of our very finest reed players.

    This hot young talent, Henry, began to play trumpet at age 5 and had passed his Grade 8 by the time he was 12. By this time he had also fallen in love with the jazz genre. He has already played many times at all of the top London jazz venues such as Ronnie Scotts, The Bull at Barnes, the 100 Club and worked with the likes of Sir John Dankworth, Dame Cleo Laine, Pete King, Martin Drew, Dave Green, etc - and he's still only 22 !

    Paul Booth is one of the most exciting and in demand saxophonists on the scene today. He is a regular at Ronnie Scotts with his own band and others and has worked many times with Arnie Somogyi's Ambulance, Sax Appeal, The New Couriers, Mike Garrick Big Band etc.
