RON DRAKE - Tenor & Clarinet

It's always a delight to welcome RON DRAKE back to Bexley. He began his musical life in the 60s with the Alan Elsdon Band - in which Campbell Burnap also played and during which time the two formed a friendship which lasted until Campbell's death. Ron later worked with Rod Mason and the Alex Welsh Reunion Band. His jazz style is cultured and impeccable (rather like the man himself) and is a joy to hear. Ron is widely respected
in the jazz world as one of our very finest reed players.

Joining Ron will be Nigel Moxom/keyboards, Joe Mudele/bass, Rod Brown/drums and Ron Wraghorn/percussion.
