VASILIS XENOPOULOS QUARTET

We are lucky to have VASILIS XENOPOULOS - Greek Saxophonist here in the UK via Athens, Berklee School of Music Boston and hence to London to study with Stan Sulzman & Eddie Harvey - added to which he is a delightful and charming young man. Supporting Vasilis this evening will be :

TED BEAMENT - one of our finest pianists and former member of the Humphrey Lyttleton Band.

DAVE CHAMBERLAIN - a great bassist who says "I guess my approach to playing the bass is first of all to swing as hard as I can and so everything with a groove and a bounce......."

WINSTON CLIFFORD - arguably the greatest exponent of his instruments on the UK jazz scene - great Scat Singer too - when he feels like it !!
