MARLENE VERPLANK WITH HER TRIO

MARLENE VERPLANK - we're proud to welcome this superb Artist back to Bexley at the conclusion of her current UK tour. Last year she was simply superb. Beginning her career with the bands of Charlie Spivak & Dorsey, she then spent 30 years in recording studios with arrangements mainly by her husband of 52 years - Billy VerPlank - trombonist, composer and arranger. Her career has been one long success story, showcasing her gorgeous, pliable voice that always knows how to tell a story. Let's hope she also tells us some Sinatra stories!
