MARLENE VERPLANCK with her Trio

Towards the end of her UK and Holland tour and following her Concert at Wavendon and Brunch Concert at Ronnie Scott's, Vocalist MARLENE VERPLANCK comes to Bexley for the first time with her Trio - all of whom we know - and love so well. Marlene's career is immediately associated with Charlie Spivak, Tex Beneke, the Tommy Dorsey Band , Carnegie Hall, The Rainbow Room, The Great American Songbook, dozens of US Commercials, Johnny Mercer songs, Frank Sinatra, KISS etc - and, of course, with her late husband the trombonist-arranger Billy VerPlanck. We have a treat in store for us at Bexley this evening.
Marlene will be supported by John Pearce/keyboards, Paul Morgan/bass and Bobby Worth/drums.
