Saxophonist & Composer - VASILIS XENOPOULOS - is often referred to as "Rising Star of the London jazz scene" - but at Bexley think he is well and truly a major "RISEN STAR".

Vasilis has now lived and worked in London for the past 8 or 9 years - working with the cream of that scene - Henry Armbourg-Jennings, Jim Mullen, Martin Shaw, Steve Waterman, Bruce Adams, Eddie Harvey, Dave Cliff, Ray Gelato etc. He has worked at most of the major jazz venues in London including the Bull at Barnes, 100 Club, Ronnies and the London Jazz Festival. Look out for the VASILIS XTET debut album - "LOUD CITY".

Vasilis is backed this evening by Ted Beament on keyboards, Joe Mudele/double bass, Rod Brown/drums and Ron Waghorn/percussion.
