A huge welcome to Clark Tracey on his first visit to Bexley Jazz Club. Son of renowned pianist, composer and arranger Stan Tracey CBE - Clark began playing regularly in his Father's bands as far back as 1978.
In 1981 he formed the first of his own groups with Djano Bates & Iain Bellamy - going on to become a leader, composer and freelance drummer alongside such as Johnny Griffin, Pharaoh Saunders, Scott Hamilton, Alan Skidmore, Alan Barnes, Kenny Wheeler, Don Weller, Tommy Smith. Clark has won three British Jazz Awards - together with Ronnie Scott's award for Best Drummer in 2007.
