Following Christmas & New Year, welcome back to Monday evening Jazz at Bexley where we wish everyone a happy and peaceful 2012 with, of course, lots of live music.

BRIAN DEE - keyboards - we welcome Brian to Bexley for the first time. He appeared at the opening of Ronnie Scott's Club back in 1959, was co-leader of the JAZZ FIVE. He has recorded with Bing Crosby, Johnny Mercer, Peggy Lee,Fred Astaire & Elaine Delmar. He worked extensively as a Session Musician (along with our own Joe Mudele) and has recorded with them all including Alan Barnes, Pete King, Jim Mullen, Allan Ganley, Clark Tracey, Dick Morrissey,Bobby Orre, Alec Dankworth etc.

DAVID BLACK - Tenor/Flute - wonderful musician - last seen by many of us with The Len Phillips Big Band in Sidcup just a few weeks ago.

JOE MUDELE - Resident Bassist and longtime colleague of Brian Dee

BOBBY WORTH - The drummer with natural swing - and first drummer in the National Youth Orchestra. I didn't know that - did you ?
